After the opening of their first Grille restaurant in Hoxton, London last September, owners John Pallagi and Simon Wright have launched their second Grille housed in the newly refurbished Balmoral Hotel in Harrogate.
Both hailing from Yorkshire the duo know the local market and feel the 80 cover restaurant with further private dining for 35 will be a success.
Pallagi says “A satisfied customer is really important to me and by creating memorable service you establish a great dining atmosphere for the customer. This is always our goal at Grille”.
Wright has travelled to Paris and Sydney to “learn the mechanics of the restaurant industry with greats such as Alain Ducasse, Terence Conran and Ian Schrager”. I appreciate what makes a great eatery and we aim to take the best features and combine them in ours”.
Sydney Aldridge, head chef, formerly at the Lanesborough, Great Eastern Hotel and indigo Jones, is “always striving for excellence.”
