The Grille which is described as a cross between a classic French bistro and an American steakhouse diner, is run independently of the hotel by Room Restaurants which rents the space. But Beecham is not trying to absolve himself or his hotel from any extortionate pricing, there isn’t any. The most expensive dish on the menu is a mixed grill for two at £28. Everything else hovers between £7.50 and £14 with only the wine list sounding the occasional alarm bell.
