By Train

There is a regular train service to Chester from Manchester operated by Arriva trains Wales and from Liverpool operated by Merseyrail. Check train times on National Rail Enquiries 08457 484950.

Walking from Train Station (approximately 12 minutes)

Head straight out of the station and straight ahead onto City Road, continue until you reach the roundabout, head straight on at the roundabout either using the crossings or via underpass, turning into Foregate Street. St John Street is the 2nd street off to your left –just before you pass under the famous Eastgate Clock.

Taxi from Train Station

This takes approximately 4 minutes, and will drop you on Foregate Street. It will cost around £4.00.

Car Parking

Overnight car parking is available in conjunction with the hotel at nearby Pepper Street NCP. Short stay or evening parking is available metered on the street or in Newgate Car Park.

From the M53 take J12 and follow signs for the city centre.
